The Department of Electrical Engineering has started in the year 1962. 

The annual sanctioned intake of three year diploma in electrical engineering is 75 seats for morning shift and 75 seats for evening shift. 

The department is backed by a team of motivated, dedicated and experience teachers. 

The department has well maintained laboratories such as Electrical lab, Electronics lab, Electrical fabrication shop, IMR Lab and EIM Lab etc. 

The percentage of passed students in every year is more than 90% and most of the students are placed in reputed organizations.
